Disability and Neurodivergence in Engineering Mixer

Fri, Nov 29, 2024

06:00 PM - 08:00 PM MST

This mixer is dedicated to connecting undergraduate students and industry professionals, with a focus on people whose experiences in the engineering field have been affected by disability or neurodivergence. The event is aimed at current students from all engineering disciplines looking for internships and co-op placements as well as graduating students looking for after-degree placements.

The event will include snacks and a chance to socialize freely, as well as a Q&A period dedicated to the way that guests' experience in engineering has been affected (or not) by disability and/or neurodivergence, challenges they've faced/overcome, and advice they may have for students.

We seek to have as wide a range of perspectives as possible - attendance is open to anyone interested.
