We would like to extend an invitation to all Canadian islet scientists and trainees to attend the Alberta-British Columbia Islet Workshop 2024. This meeting has been hosted by the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia at Silver Star Mountain Resort since 2012. The joint workshop began in response to a need to provide a scientific meeting for islet scientists and trainees to share their research and and enjoy networking opportunities. The format of the meeting invites trainees to deliver oral presentations, along with two keynote speakers. Group activities are planned to encourage networking and relationship-building for Canadian islet scientists from coast to coast.
