FAQs
I am interested in the Executive Certificate Municipal Leadership (ECML) Program. If I attend this Summit, will I need to attend this Summit again?
The Municipal Leadership Summit is the same summit as the ECML course (EXASB 6105 Sustainable Leadership Summit) - this means that the Summit will have both ECML program and non-program attendees. The EXASB 6105 Sustainable Leadership is a core course and completion of this course is needed to receive the ECML certificate. Therefore if non-program attendees wishes to take the ECML program AFTER attending the Summit, they will be required to take EXASB 6105.
Will food be provided?
Yes! For the two days, breakfast, lunch and snack breaks will be provided to all Summit attendees. There will be welcome reception held right after the first day to provide opportunities for the Summit participants to mingle - please note that for this reception food will be provided however drinks will not be covered.
How much is the event?
The two day in person event is $1,250.00.
Am I allowed to bring guests to the hotel?
Yes, you may bring guests however the event will not be providing food for your guests as the food ordered will be for Summit participants only.
Do I need to bring anything?
We highly encourage that you bring a notebook, pen or whatever you use to write notes to keep track of what you are learning! We also encourage that you refrain from bringing your laptop as to not be distracted from the material presented and to keep you engaged in discussion with your Summit peers.
