Program Description
The TCS Global Distinction program asks applicants to commit to a globally focused career by participating in international education opportunities, and reflecting upon the value of an international perspective in work and study. As part of the TCS mission, TCS students and staff are called to become agents of change and serve the global community. Global agents of change are innovative, open minded and selfless in their work. They actively contribute to the shrinking of cultural divides by learning to understand themselves in the context of the world today and use this knowledge to effectively engage with culturally diverse groups. Agents of change understand how economic, cultural and political global trends shape our world and work toward correcting inequities.
Members of the TCS community are invited to apply to receive Global Distinction. Successful applicants will receive a notation of distinction to add to an official transcript and/or professional resume, and be recognized and honored throughout the TCS community.
