NOTE: 16 May 2017 -- LATE REGISTRATION -- Late registrants are welcome and will be accepted. The price is unchanged ($325). Late abstracts will be scheduled exclusively as posters.

 

Q. When is the workshop?

A. 19–24 June 2017.  The Welcome Reception is on 19 June; workshop meeting days are 20–24 June. The workshop schedule and agenda can be found at the RHESSI 16th Workshop website.

 

Q. Where is the workshop?

A. In lovely Boulder, CO! The meeting venue is the University Memorial Center at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

 

Q. When is the deadline to register?

A. The normal registration and abstract submission deadline was 22 April 2017. LATE REGISTRATION will be accepted until 19 June 2017. LATE ABSTRACTS will be scheduled as POSTERS ONLY.

 

Q. How much is the registration fee?

A. The fee is $325 for the full week of the workshop. All morning and afternoon coffee breaks, the Welcome Reception, and the Banquet will be free to registered attendees.  N.B. Payment MUST be made at the time of registration!

 

Q. Can I bring a companion to the reception/banquet?

A. Absolutely! Companions are most welcome. Companion tickets are $75 each and include both the reception and the banquet.  N.B. Payment MUST be made at the time of registration!

 

Q. How do I submit an abstract?

A. Abstracts are submitted as part of registration.  After entering your personal information, you will be asked for your working group interests, as well as the title and abstract of your presentation. There is no separate abstract fee. LATE ABSTRACTS will be scheduled as posters only.

 

Q. How many abstracts can I submit?

A. There is a limit of ONE abstract per person, regardless of working group or presentation type.

 

Q. Can I submit a poster?

A. Yes, posters are welcome. However, the limit of one submission per person holds, whether talk or poster. LATE ABSTRACTS will be schedules as posters only.

 

Q. What are the working groups?

A. There are six working groups for the workshop, encompassing various science topics, including observations and theory. The working groups and their focus topics can be found at the RHESSI 16th Workshop website.

 

Q. Where can I stay in Boulder?

A. We have contracted rates at a few Boulder hotels, and a number of others are also available with reasonable rates.  More information can be found at the RHESSI 16th Workshop website travel page.
