1001 and Lake Institute are partnering to offer the Executive Certificate for Religious Fundraising. This program allows students the opportunity to earn a certificate in fundraising as they explore motivations for giving in the nonprofit sector. The class begins with a required two and half days in-person teaching sessions near Chicago, at the University of St. Mary of the Lake, one follow up zoom call and ends with a practical application project.

The cost of this program, including the program tuition, single room, and meals, will be covered by 1001 New Worshiping Communities for those who are currently leading new worshiping communities. Limited spaces are available for other ministry leaders (pastors, mid-council leaders, etc.) to attend at the cost of $1000.00, which will cover program tuition, single room, and meals.

The cost of travel will be covered by the participant. The 1001 office has a limited amount of funds for travel assistance for round trip flights or round trip mileage (up to the cost of an airline ticket to Chicago) for NWC leaders currently serving a new worshiping community. Those receiving travel assistance for flights will need to arrange and book their flights through the PCUSA’s travel agency. Someone from the 1001 office will be in touch after you register to book your flight.
