POCUS Introductory Course and Skill Development - Outpatient Focused

Objectives: To introduce participants to POCUS basics and ground-level applications for primarily outpatient-applied skills through didactic presentations and hands-on skill sessions with live subjects allowing then to begin to apply this procedural skillset to their clinical practices.

Targeted Audience: Outpatient or inpatient clinicians who wish to advance their clinical skills and diagnostic acumen with Point-of-Care-Ultrasound (POCUS).

Topics: Basic POCUS of the lung, the assessment of Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) at the bedside, POCUS of the abdominal and pelvis, basic screening cardiac ultrasound, devices to consider for your practice, and how to integrate POCUS into your practice.
