What is my schedule during training?

You will attend two virtual classroom sessions per day, one at 11am and one at 3pm EST. These sessions will be 2 hr and 15 min long with the rest of the day being devoted to completing eLearning courses and gaining hands-on experience in the store. Completion of Workday Learning courses is required in order to support what you've learned and to prepare you for the next Webinar session. You will find the self-study material in the last two columns of this syllabus. 


Below is your daily webinar training schedule. Each day you will select the corresponding date and either "Morning" or "Afternoon session". These tabs will provide you with a "Join Meeting" link to click and join your session.


Please be prepared to join each session 15 min prior to the start time to ensure connectivity. Daily and punctual attendance in the Virtual Classroom Sessions is required.

Please immediately report any concerns preventing completion of assignments to your trainers below. Following completion of your blended learning program you will receive additional hands on practical training from your managers. Most importantly, you will learn the “Bob’s Way” of customer and co-worker interaction throughout all of your training.


Please note: Successful completion of the training program is required for employment at Bob’s Discount Furniture. Success or failure will be determined by the Trainer and other authorized Bob’s employees.

My name is Tracy and I am the Regional Trainer for the Mid-Atlantic. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Interior Design/Space Planning and have spent the past 30 years in the Furniture and Mattress Industry. During my career I have held positions in Sales, Sales and Merchandising Management, Store Management and Training. Over the years I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry and I love having the opportunity to share that knowledge as a Trainer!

My name is Albeir as and I am the Regional Trainer for the Midwest! I have been with the company for 3 ½ years and have been in Retail and Retail Management for over 20 years! I started off my career as a Sales Manager for our Greenwood, Indiana location, was promoted to the Store Manager role shortly thereafter, and then joined the Training Department as the Regional Trainer in January 2020.

My name is Chad, Regional Trainer West Coast. I began my cherished career in 2005. Having been born and raised in the Metro Boston area I began as a sales associate in the Nashua NH location. (Yes that means I’m a Patriots fan.) After a successful 18 months in sales I was given the opportunity to join the training department as a Sales Trainer. I’ve been involved with the creation and implementation of the training programs ever since. I’ve participated in the development of sales associates as well as managers that have joined the family and always consider myself lucky to do so. I assisted in growing into the NY/NJ markets as well as the Mid-Atlantic region. In November 2019 I became the Regional Trainer of the West Coast and relocated once again but this time to Long Beach CA. I packed my sunglasses and threw out my ice scraper/snow shovel immediately, allowing for thorough enjoyment of west coast living.
