SHiiELD™ double independent isolation and bleed system

SHiiELD™ is the latest generation of pipeline isolation technology designed for repair, maintenance and replacement projects. The patented double independent isolation and bleed system provides dual independent leak-proof barriers, energized sealing and safe remote operation. SHiiELD™ transforms field operations by making complex, high-pressure work safer with no emissions.

TDW In-Line Inspection

Our in-line inspection (ILI) technologies are fully engineered to provide comprehensive threat assessment and to detect cracks and crack-like anomalies, corrosion and metal loss, dents and interacting threats.

SmartPlug® Pipeline Isolation System

SmartPlug® Pipeline Isolation System from TDW provides bidirectional pigging functionality through both fixed and flexible pipelines. Operated by remote control, the smart plug system can be used in 8-inch to 48-inch pipelines with any pipeline content or medium and can be customized and configured according to project need. The system’s double block and monitor isolation capabilities ensure safe, reliable pressure isolation, helping to maintain production while facilitating a variety of operations.

Pigging Solutions

TDW designs and manufactures an extensive selection of pipeline pigs for specific applications, such as liquids displacement, cleaning, batching, gauging, and specialty pigs, available in diameters up to 60-inch and ranging in aggressiveness from firm urethane to steel wire brushes. Customization and configuration options ensure tailored solutions for even the most complex pipeline conditions.

PETROSLEEVE® or Type C (Compression) Sleeve

PETROSLEEVE® or Type C (Compression) Sleeve is a steel, non-intrusive, easy to install pipeline repair system which does not require welding to the operating pipeline. PETROSLEEVE has been tested and validated as a permanent repair for various defects, including seam or pipe body cracking, corrosion, dents, mechanical defects, SCC, manufacturing defects, arc burns, and hard spots.

POLYSTOPP® Quick Connect Plugging Machine

With its revolutionary connection design, the POLYSTOPP® Quick Connect system makes it easy to safely perform hot tapping, plugging and branching on polyethylene (PE) pipelines — and to do it faster than with any other isolation technology. The system is lightweight and simple, and uses significantly less excavation space.

D2000 Quick-Actuating Closure

One of the most critical operations in pigging is opening the closure that provides access to the pig trap during launch and recovery operations. When the closure door is opened during the insertion or removal of a pig or other tool, there is a risk of explosive gas-air mixture.

ProStopp® DS Isolation Tool

The easy-to-use ProStopp® DS isolation tool is a low-pressure double block and bleed technology specifically designed for150 class systems. The double block and bleed feature allows for total leak protection so repairs and maintenance can be safely performed on in-service pipelines. The area between the two plugging heads is depressurized through the housing which means no additional taps or fittings are required. The tool utilizes an energized seal which expands inside the pipe. This seal can accommodate multiple wall thicknesses which reduces inventory needs for the operator.
