518-Disability from three perspectives: Personal, Students, and Clients

Description:

Dr. Pearl Werfel, a psychologist in private practice, is on the Healthcare Provider Council of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a consultant with Can Do Multiple Sclerosis and has written and presented on different aspects of working with clients with chronic illness and disability. She will offer a presentation on overview, interventions, and hidden disability with an eye to how people with hidden disability have been affected during COVID. Dr. Rhoda Olkin, a clinician and polio survivor, will discuss lessons from her own experiences, and from research she has conducted with graduate students and clients with disabilities.
