Description:
This workshop examines the current mental health challenges that BIPOC firefighters and EMS personnel experience because of the demands of the profession. The workshop explores the intersectionality of ethnicity, gender within the context of fire service culture and the current COVID 19 pandemic and its mental health consequences. Additionally, current program and mental health interventions that are being utilized by the fire service will be discussed regarding implementation challenges and efficacy.
