412-From Avoidance to Grief: An Unfolding Sandplay Process

Description:

In this 3-hour clinical practice workshop, participants will be introduced to Jungian sandplay theory in clinical practice. Primary sandplay concepts will be reviewed, followed by a close examination of a sandplay case from the instructor’s clinical practice, which demonstrates the use of sandplay to resolve traumatic grief. Participants will have the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to the case and to practice embodied association to the sandtray images in a group setting.
