Description:

Many people have psychological distress and concerns from time to time. But stressors cause concern for mental illness when signs and symptoms cause frequent stress and effect on one’s ability to function. A mental illness can make one miserable and can cause problems in daily life, such as at work, school or in relationships. In most cases, mental illness symptoms can be managed with a combination of medications and counseling (psychotherapy).
