"Contemplative Embodiments and the Anti-oppressive Classroom"
When we examine and build our capacities in contemplative practices, efforts to open hearts, minds, and bodies to true community, deeper insight, and just, sustainable, coexistence with all people and with the natural environment are possible (Babazet & Bush). Participants will be introduced to concepts in contemplative approaches to higher education, it's embodiments of pedagogy in contemplative end of life care, and most important, the impact on the anti-oppressive classroom.
