This talk will go over the basic principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Social Phobia, beginning with a formulation of Social Phobia from a CBT perspective and the fundamental components of treatment including identifying cognitive distortions and exposure exercises. A case study will be presented detailing the treatment of a client with Social Phobia with a CBT approach.
