Analytical Psychology: The Archetype of Justice, Voting Rights and Food Security in the U.S. Political Economy.

Fri, Sep 03, 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM PDT

Audience

All Faculty and Students from All Programs

Description

In this seminar we will look at the U.S. political economy through the lens of the Kemetic- Egyptian myth of MAAT, an archetype of Justice, Judgment and orderly Judicial Proceedings. The myth offers the example of spirit and matter integrated in law and political economy. We use this myth and its teachings to interrogate U.S. Congressional legislative initiatives in the For the Peoples’ Act and the John Lewis Act. We then turn our attention to Food Security and Health, body and soul.
