Peer Learning Event: Using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills in Group Therapy

Description

This course will provide tips for structuring adult mental health and substance abuse groups using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills. In this group, an overview of Marsha Linehan’s Second Edition DBT Training Manual will be given to aid in group planning and skill implementation. A few basic DBT skills will be presented in this learning session.


Learn how to use the DBT Manual to plan for groups, learn to plan and structure groups, learn several key DBT skills to use with adult substance abuse and mental health clients.
