WHAT: Building on the success of the inaugural Canadian Symposium on Long COVID hosted by the Fonds de recherche du Québec and the Long COVID Web in September 2023, Alberta is pleased to host the 2024 Canadian Symposium on Long COVID.

 

WHO: The symposium will bring together people with lived experience of Long COVID, policymakers, clinicians, trainees, researchers and others.

 

WHY: To discuss the latest innovations and scientific developments in Long COVID. Sessions are planned on treatments of Long COVID, pediatric Long COVID, the spectrum of lived experience, among others.

 

WHEN: October 3-4, 2024

 

WHERE: This event will take place in person in Edmonton. It will be broadcast online for those who cannot attend in person.

 

In-person attendance is now closed. Prevention measures will be in place (masking and hotel has state-of-the art ventilation system).

 

COST: Tickets are required for virtual attendance. Tickets are provided after registration.

 

The overall learning objectives are to enhance the clinical and basic science understanding of Long COVID delivered from the perspectives of the clinician, researcher and persons with lived experience.
