PRESENTATION: Entrepreneurship + Innovation: Black Youth Internships @ UAlberta

The University of Alberta offers world-class internships and work-integrated learning for students. Come learn about two of these opportunities for Black students in high school and for those already in post-secondary. ELITE Program (Experiential Learning in Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship) for students interested in natural and applied sciences and BYSI Program (Black Youth for Social Innovation) for students interested in social sciences and humanities have come together to share how they can transform your UAlberta experience. Both programs connect Black youth to meaningful summer internships and can act as launchpads for your career. In this presentation, you will hear from students who forged community and are thriving from BYSI and ELITE’s holistic mentorship approaches. Come find out how these two programs for Black youth can fuel your UAlberta experience, even before you step on campus.
